BARKSDALE IS HAVING AN IDENTITY CRISIS, CALLS HIMSELF CONSERVATIVE

October 27, 2016

Liberal moneyman Jim Barksdale’s lackluster performance at the Atlanta Press Club debate wasn’t surprising but claiming to be a “fiscal conservative” left everyone – including his supporters – scratching their heads.

“With just weeks until Election Day, millionaire moneyman Jim Barksdale is obviously having a full blown identity crisis,” said Ryan Mahoney, spokesperson for the Georgia Republican Party. “He claims to be a ‘fiscal conservative’ but touts a radical, anti-capitalism agenda. Barksdale wants Georgia voters to think he can be trusted to put America on the path to solvency but advocates for policies that will bury us deeper in debt.

“With a campaign run by former Bernie Sanders’ staffers and supporters that have pegged him as a ‘true progressive champion,’ it is clear that Jim Barksdale is a fringe candidate with questionable motives. He’s not one of us and cannot be trusted to represent our Georgia values in the United States Senate.”
