Georgia College Republicans elected new leaders last weekend during their convention at the State Capitol. Stephen Greenway, a junior at the University of Georgia, will take the reigns as Chairman. Ashley Burnette from Georgia State University was elected Vice-Chairman, Cody Hall of the University of Georgia as Secretary, and Nick Kovakenko from Emory University as Treasurer.
“Congratulations to Stephen and the new officers of the Georgia Association of College Republicans,” said Georgia Republican Party Chairman John Padgett. “As we enter into another important election cycle, I look forward to working together to grow the Party, spread the conservative message, and earn victory for our candidates at the ballot box.
“On behalf of Georgia Republicans around the state, we thank outgoing Chairman Will Kremer for his bold leadership and tireless service. During Will’s tenure, universities around the state added new College Republican chapters while existing organizations saw unprecedented growth. As Chairman, Will organized grassroots efforts throughout Georgia, partnered with like-minded organizations to elect Republican candidates, and served as a clear, clarion voice for the conservative movement. Will is one of the brightest stars in the Republican Party and I wish him the very best in his future endeavors.”
