“They fight not for the lust of conquest. They fight to end conquest. They fight to liberate.” – President Franklin D. Roosevelt
Today, we pause to recognize the 70th Anniversary of D-Day and honor those brave Americans who stormed the beaches of Normandy on June 6, 1944.
These liberators fought to end Nazi tyranny and secure a free world for generations to come. We are forever indebted to our American heroes who have certainly earned the right to be called “the greatest generation.”
As we commemorate this important day in world history, let us also pause to honor our veterans and active duty military for their service to our country. Freedom is never more than a generation away from extinction and these brave men and women have sacrificed life and limb to protect our homeland and preserve our way of life.
God Bless and God Bless America!
