(Atlanta, GA) – Today, Georgia Republican Party Chairman John Padgett joined with Republican House Caucus Leadership in condemning House Bill 1033 and called for the legislation, in its original form, to be withdrawn.
“I unequivocally condemn House Bill 1033,” said Padgett. “This legislation does not reflect the core values of the Georgia Republican Party and will ultimately compromise the safety of our children and the future of our state. I applaud Republican House Caucus Leadership for their outspoken rejection of HB1033 and strongly urge the author to withdraw his bill immediately.”
