GEORGIA REPUBLICANS MOURN THE LOSS OF JON RICHARDS

March 27, 2017

After a brief battle with cancer, longtime grassroots volunteer and writer Jon Richards died on Sunday at the age of 61.

“Today, we mourn the loss of our dear friend, Jon Richards,” said Georgia Republican Party Chairman John Padgett.  ”Jon was a selfless volunteer, insightful writer, accomplished business owner, and cherished photographer. But more importantly, Jon Richards was a kind-hearted, loving man who always put others first.  He never searched for praise, accolades, or a fancy title but always looked for ways to help.  Jon Richards was one-of-a-kind and he will be sorely missed.”

For his years of service to the Georgia Republican Party, Jon Richards was named “Volunteer of the Year” by Chairman John Padgett in 2015.  To learn more about Jon’s life and legacy, click HERE.
