WHAT: The Georgia Republican Party, in conjunction with local GOP organizations, will host their seventh and final U.S. Senate candidate debate in Columbus at the River Center.
WHO: Candidates vying to fill the seat of retiring United States Senator Saxby Chambliss will participate in a structured debate moderated by John Clark of the Georgia News Network (GNN).

CREDENTIALING: Reporters and photographers are asked to check-in at the on-site “Media” table no later than 6:00PM to receive their credentials. Credentials will be provided only to reputable media outlets. Only credentialed media will be allowed to film/record the debate. A green room will be available for candidate interviews prior to the start of the debate. Doors to the green room will open at 5:00PM. Interviews must be scheduled through the campaign, not the Georgia Republican Party.
BACKGROUND: The Georgia Republican Party will host debates throughout Georgia for candidates seeking the U.S. Senate seat now held by retiring Senator Saxby Chambliss. By organizing debates in various parts of the state, the Georgia GOP will provide voters with more access, more information, and more opportunities to interact with the Republican candidates for Senate.
