PERDUE EARNS CLEAR VICTORY AT ATLANTA PRESS CLUB DEBATE

October 27, 2014

Conservative businessman and outsider David Perdue continued to highlight his vision for growth and opportunity tonight at a debate hosted by the Atlanta Press Club.  Following the debate in which Perdue earned a clear victory over liberal Democrat Michelle Nunn, the Georgia Republican Party issued the following statements:

“America is at a crossroads and we need bold leaders in the United States Senate to guide our country down the path of prosperity,” said Georgia Republican Party Chairman John Padgett.  “David Perdue has the real-world experience necessary to fundamentally reform the federal government and make it work for the American people again.  David will fight for lower taxes, less job-killing regulations, smaller government, and more freedom for all of us.

“After tonight’s debate, it’s abundantly clear that – if elected – Michelle Nunn would be nothing more than a puppet for President Barack Obama and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.  A vote for Michelle Nunn is unequivocally a vote for the continuation of the President’s failed, liberal agenda.

“Simply put, Michelle Nunn will be President Obama’s senator.  David Perdue will be a senator that Georgians are proud to call their own.”
