(Atlanta, GA) – Following the “Moral Mondays” protest in which ten radical liberals, including State Senator Vincent Fort (D-Atlanta) were arrested after refusing to comply with law enforcement, Ryan Mahoney, spokesperson for the Georgia Republican Party, made the following statement:
“It’s sad that left-wing radicals like Sen. Vincent Fort would rather walk out of the Capitol in handcuffs than sit down with state lawmakers for a grown-up conversation on governance and policy.
“Clearly, Sen. Fort and his sidekick Jason Carter prefer political grandstanding and name calling to actually working under the Gold Dome to find common sense solutions to our state’s most pressing issues.
“Out-of-control protests and out-of-touch Atlanta politicians. This is what we can expect from a Carter Administration.”
