Statement on Senate Impeachment Vote
Atlanta, GA – Georgia Republican Party Chairman David J. Shafer released the following statement on today’s impeachment vote in Congress:
“I am terribly disappointed in Sen. Mitt Romney for his vote today. But, I am happy that the impeachment trial is behind us and that President Trump can continue the prosperous work of his administration. The amazing economic recovery spearheaded by the President will continue to create jobs and move Americans from the food stamp rolls to the payrolls. God Bless America!”
