ATLANTA, GA – Today, as Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms holds a joint virtual fundraiser with Joe Biden, Georgians are reminded where her priorities lie.
Considering her gross inaction in the face of a spike in violent crime—which includes an over 200% increase in homicides—and her admission that the city of Atlanta has been defunding the police for years, Georgians should be alarmed. Rather than prioritizing the safety of people in Atlanta, Bottoms focuses on national television appearances and partisan fundraising efforts as she desperately attempts to star as Joe Biden’s radical running mate.
While Bottoms is at best an ineffective leader and at worst an extremist liberal, Biden is still considering her. If this is Joe Biden’s best judgment, what other poor decisions would he make as President?
“Georgians aren’t impressed by Mayor Bottoms and her inability to keep the people of Atlanta safe,” said Georgia GOP Executive Director Stewart Bragg. “Should she be on the ticket with Biden, she will be rejected by voters, as Georgia families prefer law and order over inaction and chaos.”
