{"id":12301,"date":"2023-10-27T16:30:16","date_gmt":"2023-10-27T20:30:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gagop.org\/?p=12301"},"modified":"2023-10-28T14:48:43","modified_gmt":"2023-10-28T18:48:43","slug":"presidential-preference-primary-ballot-placement-determination-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gagop.org\/2023\/10\/27\/presidential-preference-primary-ballot-placement-determination-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Presidential Preference Primary Ballot Placement Determination"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>NOTICE TO REPUBLICAN CANDIDATES FOR<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Determination of the names of candidates to appear on the ballot for Republican Presidential Preference Primary is made by the State Executive Committee of the Georgia Republican Party pursuant to Section 21-2-193 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated.<\/p>\n<p>If you are a Republican candidate for President and would like the State Executive Committee to consider you for placement on the Republican Presidential Preference Primary ballot, please submit a written request containing the information below to Josh McKoon, Chairman of the Georgia Republican Party, by 2:00 PM on <b>November 12, 2023<\/b>:<\/p>\n<p>1. Your name as you wish it to appear on the ballot.<br \/>\n2. Your candidate FEC identification number from your Statement<br \/>\nof Candidacy filed with the Federal Election Commission.<br \/>\n3. The name and address of your principal campaign committee.<br \/>\n4. The name, telephone number and email for a primary contact<br \/>\nperson at the campaign.<br \/>\n5. A voluntary contribution of $25,000 to the Georgia Republican<br \/>\nParty as a show of the strength and viability of your campaign.<br \/>\n6. Provide information showing that you have established<br \/>\nsubstantial support in Georgia for your nomination as the<br \/>\nRepublican Party candidate for the Office of President of the<br \/>\nUnited States (e.g. number of Georgians who have contributed<br \/>\nto your campaign).<\/p>\n<p>The making or failure to make a voluntary contribution is only one<br \/>\nfactor considered by the State Executive Committee and will be used<br \/>\nto assess viability.
