Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’ attempt to duck a lawful subpoena from the Georgia State Senate has been denied by Fulton County Superior Court Judge Shukura Ingram. Willis’ argument was a Hail Mary of a legal theory that her subpoena was invalid because the Senate Special Committee on Investigations was formed in the previous cycle of the Georgia General Assembly. In her decision, Judge Ingram noted the absurdity of the argument, speaking hypothetically “if every time a subpoena is issued by a Special Committee, a recipient can simply litigate its validity and enforcement until the General Assembly reconstitutes and then they have to start over, this would be an absurd result indeed.” The Georgia Republican Party has been steadfast in its support of the creation and perpetuation of this Georgia State Senate Committee. This legal victory is just one more step in compelling Willis’ appearance before the bipartisan committee to answer key questions about the true nature of her RICO case against President Trump and our Republican electors. Georgians MUST get answers regarding the relationship her office had with the Biden Administration, the sham House January 6 Committee, the media, and anyone else who conspired to deny voters of their Civil Rights by seeking to imprison political opponents, drain Republican finances, and intimidate regular people from involving themselves in grassroots politics. Additionally, Georgians deserve answers regarding possible perjury by officers of the court during the disqualification hearings last year. To paraphrase Willis herself in 2021, this investigation should go wherever the facts lead and those responsible must be held accountable!
