Does Privileged Liberal Jon Ossoff Stand With Stacey Abrams’ Opposition To Keeping First Responders Safe?
ATLANTA, GA – Less than 24 hours after going on national TV to endorse privileged liberal Jon Ossoff, Stacey Abrams and her Fair Fight Action organization are opposing common-sense legislation that would protect first responders.
Fair Fight Action released a statement yesterday announcing its opposition to Georgia HB 838, a bill that would enforce stricter punishments on those who commit crimes against police and first responders, including paramedics, who are attacked because of their profession.
Just last week, Ossoff indicated his support for defunding the police, only to later reverse himself under pressure. Ossoff also made headlines before the primary when he came out in favor of sanctuary cities. With an established record of embracing lawless and dangerous political positions, will Ossoff stand with Abrams in her efforts to oppose protecting first responders?
“Stacey Abrams has made it clear that she is Jon Ossoff’s biggest supporter and Ossoff has made it clear that he supports lawless policies that risk Georgians’ safety,” said Georgia GOP Executive Director Stewart Bragg. “With Abrams backing efforts that would leave our first responders less safe from criminals, Ossoff owes Georgians an answer on whether he supports her despicable efforts.”
