Joe Biden Calls For Defunding The Police, Jon Ossoff Claims To “Mirror” His Approach
Atlanta, GA – Just days ago, after he stated his support for putting police funding “on the line,” privileged liberal Jon Ossoff tried to flip-flop amid public backlash, telling to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution “his approach mirrors presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden’s stance.”
But today, when asked whether funding should be directed away from police, Biden responded “yes, absolutely,” indicating that he would support the defund the police movement, as defined by its proponents. A recent poll showed that 64% of Americans oppose defunding law enforcement.
“By enabling the defund the police movement, Jon Ossoff and Joe Biden have made it clear that their party’s radical agenda comes before public safety,” said Georgia GOP Executive Director Stewart Bragg. “While Georgia’s largest city experiences an alarming surge in violent crime, Ossoff and Biden’s lawless agenda would put the lives of Georgians at risk. We can’t trust them to lead.”
