Privileged Liberal Jon Ossoff’s Amazon Stock Hypocrisy
Ossoff has substantial investments in Amazon

Atlanta, GA – Already exposed as a shameless hypocrite on the Paycheck Protection Program – which he criticized while his father used it to save his company – privileged liberal Jon Ossoff has been caught in another blatant hypocrisy.

In a new interview with CNBC, Ossoff criticized Amazon for its “unethical” behavior, noting that “Jeff Bezos and Amazon shareholders are making enough money.” But Ossoff neglected to mention that he is one of those shareholders.

According to Ossoff’s personal financial disclosure, he owns between $250,001 to $500,000 of stock in the Fidelity 500 Index Fund. As of this year, Amazon stock is one of the top 10 holdings of the Fidelity 500 Index Fund. With Ossoff’s net worth estimated to be between $2,221,016 and $8,588,999, this means a significant portion of his finances are invested in a fund with major holdings in Amazon. Also, according to FEC reports, his campaign for Senate has spent $1898.89 on purchases from Amazon while his failed 2017 House campaign spent $7890.11.

“Jon Ossoff’s capacity for hypocrisy is simply jaw-dropping,” said Georgia GOP Executive Director Stewart Bragg. “If Ossoff truly believes that Amazon is ‘unethical,’ why has he invested a substantial portion of his personal wealth in the company? Ossoff clearly doesn’t believe any of his own rhetoric and is simply telling voters what he thinks they want to hear.”
